At Affordable Medical Imaging we can schedule your diagnostic imaging and available self-referral screening procedures.
All diagnostic imaging procedures require a prescription from your doctor stating the exam, the medical reason for the exam and a diagnosis code even though we are not submitting information to any insurance company.
A self-referral screening procedure is a test you can order yourself and you do not need a prescription. Self-referral screenings are designed to check vital organs such as the heart for disease. If you have a family history or some concern, these screenings may help provide peace of mind or prompt you to seek medical attention.
Please note, even though this is a self referral screening procedure, there is a very specific criteria required for these screenings. First, you must provide your physicians name and contact information. This is needed in the event of potential abnormalities or suspicion of abnormalities are found or if the evaluating radiologist recommends future testing. If you do not have a physician, AHCN can provide one for follow up.

AHCN does not file any claims and can not be responsible in any manner for issues associated with your insurance company’s reimbursement policies.

Yes, by submitting your receipt to your HSA/FSA manager. You can also use your HSA/FSA debit card at time of service.
If you are having a diagnostic exam a prescription from your physician is required. If you are self referring for a screening procedure no prescription is needed. However, a physician’s name and contact information is required. If you do not have a doctor, AHCN can provide a referral.
